KATHMANDU, March 7 - Khudi Hydroelectric Power Plant located in Lamjung bagged an international award presented by the Association of Canadian Engineering Companies for the year 2008 at a function in Montreal, Canada recently.
According to a statement issued by Hydro Solutions Nepal on Friday, the project was awarded in the international category for its achievement in sustainable use of water resource for social empowerment. The award was jointly received by Gyanendra Lal Pradhan, chairperson of Khudi Hydropower Limited and Francois Vitez, investor of the project.
